Writing

Author & Editor · Astrobites

Research papers are written for other researchers. That leaves a gap: a result can be exciting, important, and completely invisible to anyone outside the field. I write for Astrobites, a daily astrophysics literature blog run by graduate students, to help close that gap - taking a fresh paper from the arXiv and explaining what it found, why it matters, and how they figured it out, for readers from undergraduates to the curious public.

Alongside writing, I serve as an editor for Astrobites, working with other authors to sharpen their summaries before publication.

More of my work is on Astrobites, where you can also meet the authors.
